Thailand Proposal for the Draft GMS Performance Standards
Electricity Generating Authority of Thailand (EGAT) has prepared the draft of GMS performance standards covering 7 system operation standards needed for secure and reliable cross border interconnected system operation. The draft performance standard is a part of work to be done according to the Road Map for Regional Power Trade (MOU-2).
The proposed draft of 7 system operation standards are as follows:
1. Static Security
2. Dynamic Security
3. Generating Plants Black Start Requirements
4. Requirement for Frequency Control
5. Operating Reserve Requirements
6. Voltage and Reactive Power Control
7. Blackout Restoration
